Knife number 441 – The Cousins – illustrates the harmony of nature. The silver insert, inspired by the cool waters of the north, creates a striking contrast against the rich dark ebony and the creamy light mammoth tusk. This simple blend of materials mirrors the serene yet powerful essence of the streams of Jutland where salmon and trout thrive. The intricately crafted scrimshaw showcases the dynamic energy of a jumping salmon on one side and an equally spirited sea trout on the other. These designs are enhanced by subtle blue and red accents, highlighting the distinct features of each fish. The result is a stunning visual representation that captures the essence of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

To prevent ones hand from slipping on the handle, I decided to carve an entire area of in a  checkered area for a better grip. The sheath is a regular Nordic style made from semi-tanned leather with additional air brush paint applied in a faded design.
