Introducing the exquisite Björkman Twist steel pattern, meticulously crafted in the forges of Söderfors, Sweden. Elevate your knife collection with the allure of a sleek, slim blade encased in a sheath adorned with mammoth shell engravings.

Inspired by the ancient motifs of the Samic culture, I have infused three captivating hues into the intricate engravings, seamlessly blending geometric precision with organic elegance. Each line tells a story of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Look closer and you’ll discover the hidden treasures of the meticulous file work patterns adorning the back spring and liners. Every curve, every line, intricately intertwined to echo the rhythm of tradition while embracing the essence of contemporary aesthetics.

The task was to create a knife for all-round use, one that would be practical while also providing a sense of beauty. I placed slices of bronze and aluminum with some additional file-work between the pieces of horn. The scrimshaw designs feature two animals very different in size; an ant hiding in the leaves and a stag roaring toward the sky.
